Glass Bangles from Hirapur, Chadrapur District, Maharashtra
Résumé
In the present paper an attempt has beenmade to throw light on the glass (bangles) material recovered during the course of the burial excavation at Hirapur in Chandrapur District, Maharashtra, a dolmen site in Central India, the first of its kind to be excavated. Scientific analysis (Laser ablation-Inductively Coupled Plasma-Mass spectrometry technique) of the glass material has been used to compare this material with that from other sites in Maharashtra.
